Did you get some new devices for the holidays and want to donate or sell your old ones? Make sure to complete a factory reset before letting them go - that's when you remove all your personal information from the device and restore it back to its original factory settings.
This is important to do because you could have sensitive personal data stored on the device, like your address, passwords, banking information, and more. For most devices, navigate to the Settings area, then look for a Factory Reset option in the General, System, or Advanced section.
