Several changes are coming to DirectLink’s EZVideo and IPTV cable services. As previously communicated, the company was in unusual mid-year contract negotiations which affected member rates and channel lineups moving forward. The majority of NBC Sports Northwest’s coverage has moved to ROOT Sports, and so the network has decided to discontinue the channel as of September 30, 2021. In addition, due to contractual requirements, the ACC Network will be added on September 1, 2021 to the EZVideo Extra and IPTV People’s Choice channel tiers. The ACC Network airs sports coverage of the NCAA Atlantic Coast Conference.
Please also note that the scheduled price increases mentioned in the letter you received in July will go into effect on October 1, 2021. Content providers have raised programming rates significantly, including a projected 400% increase in local broadcast station fees since 2012.
Reminder: all DirectLink TV services will be discontinued on January 31, 2022. Subscribers have 5 months to explore and choose their next TV entertainment provider. Learn more about this decision on the DirectLink blog page here.
