We have become aware of recent telephone calls being made to members by callers who state that they are a 3rd party working on behalf of DirectLink and Verizon. They want to replace the internet and telephone equipment in your home. To do this, they request a $1.19 deposit to confirm the technician’s appointment.
THIS CALL IS NOT FROM DIRECTLINK. We do not know what happens after the $1.19 is charged, or the true nature of the solicited “appointment." We recommend diligence when approached with these types of offers.
